In 2021, Denton, TX band Fishboy unveiled "Waitsgiving," a narrative album featuring ten songs centered around a fictional holiday celebrating patience. Following its debut, the band transformed this holiday into a real-life tradition, joining the community of Denton annually on the courthouse lawn. This year marks the fourth Waitsgiving, featuring a full-band acoustic performance, a walking tour of the album's historic inspirations, and the continuation of cherished traditions.
