Dr. Ben Biography
Dr. Ben is an Americana / roots recording artist who performs songs of heartache, hope and healing, based on his 30 years of experience as a travelling doctor to almost 100 rural communities across Canada. His songs describe his stories helping people deal with mental health challenges, addictions, unusual diseases and loneliness. Dr. Ben expresses his emotions through a mix of intricate fingerpicking guitar styles, soulful blues licks and poignant lyrics. Dr Ben lives in Toronto and his side-gigs include university professor and global health advocate.
