Andreas returns to The Firkin Frog in Herne Bay for another super chilled Sunday afternoon acoustic show. Live on stage Ramsgate based Andreas bares his soul and speaks his truth in song, giving his audiences, a heartfelt intimate experience, a show that is not to be missed. One man and his guitar stripped down and acoustic. Andreas has played solo tours in the US, Australia, Germany, UK and in his native Denmark. Three singles from Andreas’ debut album Disturbed where supported by British BBC6 Radio and received radio play in the UK and abroad. On lockdown single Love & War his music changed, from the debut albums indie rock, to a more acoustic/americana/country/folk inspired sound influenced by his many stays at the songwriter's refuge The House Of Songs in Austin,Texas. This was followed by Ordinary People, a duet with Danish banjo player/vocalist Sine Back Rüttel - a folk-rock inspired song with a sound like a mid-seventies Dylan. Dec 2022 single Parachutes was written at a 5-day songwriting camp in Devon, led by Squeeze legend Chris Difford. The song mixes groovy pop with dreamy guitars and an ambiguous lyric, about two partners separated with a lover talking about "drinking the sea dry" to bring the other closer. The Good Ones (release January 2023), is musically inspired by Andreas' time in Texas and the production reflects the sound of country / dance bands in classic Austin bars and venues. It's a song about finding the right one, the one that fits, the one that's good for you. Background: Andreas has a background as a writer/producer for people like: Kevin Lyttle (Atlantic US), Stephanie Heinzmann (Universal Germany), Vybez Kartel and Delirium/Nerina Pallot. As a part of The Funktuary he was responsible for putting together Armand Van Helden's "My My My” a big hit in the United Kingdom and a club cult classic worldwide. Andreas is also a busy live musician having toured extensively, worldwide with bands like Drum’n’Bass/Reggae festival favourites the Dub Pistols.
