Join Silvermouse on The Beyond Tour, an extraordinary journey where music and consciousness converge, brought to life through an unprecedented collaboration with the Monroe Institute. This tour marks the pinnacle of nearly three years of pioneering work, introducing Monroe Sound Science’s consciousness-altering frequencies into the vibrant world of live music.
Born in the solitude of pandemic lockdowns, our "Psychoactive Project" with the Monroe Institute ventures beyond traditional brainwave entrainment, which has mainly been confined to headphones and meditation music, to challenge the divide between the sacred rituals of meditation and the liberating ecstasy of live performance. Silvermouse believes in the sacredness of life's every facet - from hedonistic joy to serene meditation, inviting all to a space where joy, intention, and mindfulness reign supreme.
Our journey has led us through eleven signal tests across three countries, culminating in an album that sets the stage for a tour unlike any other. Silvermouse Biography
Emerging onto the Livetronica scene in the mid-noughties, Silvermouse grew from two distinct roots in UK rave culture and American jam rock. The merging of these worlds gave life to the meditative, entrancing, ecstatic, and energized psychedelic soundscapes that comprise the duo’s signature sound.
The fusion is deep. Jo Hunt (electronic) and Justin Handley (multi-instrumentalist) are partners in both music and life. The pair dream, spin their visions, and raise their family of mystical animals, a couple of feral children, innumerable medicinal plants, and many tropical fruit trees at the farm and food forest they call home.
Their past three album releases have been psychedelic odysseys - 50+ minute non-stop live sets, recorded outdoors with ecstatic revelers at recording parties hosted by the artists in their favorite locations. Nature and the psychedelic experience of cosmic living are the duo’s forever-muses. Their sound is driven by the forces of union and expansion - root deeply into the earth while taking off into full energetic flight.
Silvermouse’s current project, ‘Psychoactive,’ is a deep journeying dive into the potential of music as a psychoactive entity. The pair have been elevating their sound with spatial audio and Monroe Sound Science brainwave entrainment signals to create a safe container and a trigger for altered states, consciousness exploration, and mind-soul axis elevation.
