Mike Maurice performs at The Thirsty Pig in Portland, ME from2-5 PM. Free show! Mike Maurice is a singer/songwriter & multi instrumentalist from Biddeford Maine who combines soulful and earthy instrumentals and melancholic undertones to create a unique sound. Influenced by the playing of John Mayer and the writing of Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes and Gregory Alan Isakov to name a few, his new album "Apartment Secrets" touches on love, loss and the inner dialogue that many can relate to from the isolation of the pandemic. Joining Mike in his band are Thomas Clukey, Adrian Bean, Matt Johnston, Jason Marshall, and Michael Solak. “We were aware of how talented Mike Maurice was on the keys, but nothing could prepare us for his fantastic guitar work on his new album "Apartment Secrets". Layers of electric and acoustic guitar are joined with mandolin and (of course) keys creating a nicely done soundtrack for Maurice's cool and soothing vocals.
