Space Octopus Cartel are a 5 piece synth infused prog rock outfit, formed in London when a group of friends who met playing in a jazz big band decided to split off and explore wider musical interests.
They draw influence from both high-concept sci-fi narratives and gritty real world history, blending story and song into detailed progressive anthems when they're feeling serious, and fun upbeat rock when they're not.
