About this concert
A perfect way to start your Sunday...Your Captain will take you on a Sunday Funday cruise with some great live entertainment by Michelle Chenard. Some points of interest on your cruise will be Arch Rock, British Landing, and a shoreline tour of the West Bluff featuring the famous Grand Hotel and concluding with a tour of the harbor. Bloody Mary's, Mimosa's, and a host of signature cocktails are available.
A self-professed “Funkateer” Serita Crowley of Serita’s Black Rose from Grand Rapids, Michigan brings a raucous mix of FUNK, ROCK, BLUES, NEO-SOUL, and AMERICANA. Serita, along with her partner Jon Hayes are at it’s core, performing together for nearly two decades. As an acoustic duo, or full band, they play much of the timeless “feel good music” from the 60’s and 70’s along with their own original music.

The show was amazing! You can see that this couple is doing exactly what they were meant to do! Sherita has a booming range and the harmonica and guitar accompaniment is killer good! We will be back to listen again.

Serita's Black Rose Biography
Serita’s Black Rose from Grand Rapids Michigan has been performing collectively throughout the Midwest United States, Nationally and Internationally. Serita Crowley and Jon Hayes are at it's core, performing together as partners for nearly 2 decades. In 2012, they won WYCE’s Jammie Award for Best Short Form Album with their self titled EP release "Serita's Black Rose Vol. I". In 2013, the duo played an acoustic set as the opener for the legendary Smokey Robinson at Frederick Meijer Gardens. Serita has shared the stage with famous artists such as James Brown, Brian Vanderark of The Verve Pipe, KoKo Taylor, and many more. Serita's fiery, blues- and soul-infused vocals- along with her band Serita’s Black Rose brings out the very best in Funk, Rock, Blues and Soul that you will absolutely love!!
