Greywind was amazing! They put on an epic show and met all their fans between their set and the next. They made sure everyone got to meet them, gave autographs, took pictures, I just can't describe how great everything was. Paul, Sophie... You are doing amazing! I hope to see you guys again soon! Cosmic Eye was a great venue. The atmosphere for the scene so well. It's so sad to hear that they are closing their doors. Other bands to note: Good terms, holy crap! They blew the roof off! The energy they brought to the room belongs in the West Fair Amphitheater with a packed in crowd. I didn't realize it.untol they took the stage, but I had been chatting with one of the guitarist at the merch table for 30 mins before the show. So cool and down to earth. And the solos this guy can shred out are outstanding! After Arizona, you guys have to be the best emo skater band I've ever heard. Boys of Fall, holy crap! You guys killed it. I couldn't have been more happy with the set.

Greywind Biography

Greywind are an emo rock duo from Killarney in Ireland formed by siblings Steph and Paul O'Sullivan. In their first 40 shows as a band they have already achieved playing some of the biggest festivals in the world, including Reading and Leeds Festival, Isle of Wight Festival, Download Festival, Rock Am Ring and have supported the likes of Palaye Royale, Thrice and You Me At Six. Greywind’s music has been described by Zane Lowe as "a moment you won't forget if you're a fan of rock music." Their debut album ‘Afterthoughts’ was recorded in Texas with Grammy-Winning producer Jason Perry and charted in the Official UK Rock Chart on the day of their sold out debut headline show in London. In 2021 Greywind released their acclaimed new single ‘Am I Asleep?’, with the track being described as “a stadium-ready alt-rock anthem” by Record Of The Day. In June 2022 Greywind’s songs ‘Afterthoughts’ and ‘Car Spin’ went viral on TikTok reaching over 1 million views.

The Greywind story is a potent reminder that a whole new world of possibilities could be waiting just a few clicks away as Greywind’s rise to prominence started before they’d even played a gig.

On an ordinary Wednesday night, the duo finished writing their first song 'Afterthoughts' & recorded a demo of it the following day. They uploaded it on the Monday & were immediately deluged by a flood of industry interest and numerous BBC Radio 1 plays.

Greywind recorded their debut album in Texas with Grammy winning producer Jason Perry. Featuring lyrics which address the dark heart of the human condition, the resulting album possesses soaring hooks & an ethereal drift of atmospherics that explode into controlled chaos. Alternating at will between tender, evocative & aggressive, Steph’s voice elevates Greywind into another dimension.

In February 2021 Greywind released their acclaimed new single 'Am I Asleep?' with the track being described as “a stadium-ready alt-rock anthem” by Record Of The Day.
