About this concert
Mountain Highway will perform 30 minutes at the top of each hour from noon to closing on Saturday and Sunday (Sept 21-22) of the 2024 Field Day of the Past in Amelia, Virginia. Get tickets at the gate or visit https://fielddayofthepast.net/tickets/.
With a style all their own, Mountain Highway is a musical family group that performs bluegrass, country, and gospel music originally made famous by icons like Bill Monroe, the Carter Family, the Eagles, and Linda Ronstadt. Sibling singers play banjo, guitar, and mandolin as they sing in family harmony, while their dad plays an electric upright bass. Performing most often in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, Mountain Highway has traveled extensively to perform at many other popular venues from New York to Texas. The group’s endorsements include Deering Banjos, GHS Strings, and Shubb Capos.

We've seen Mountain Highway in Gatlinburg Tennessee many times, and now in Romulus Michigan and every time we see them, their show gets better and better. Absolutely amazing!!!!!

Mountain Highway Biography
With a style all their own, Mountain Highway is a musical family group performing bluegrass, country, and gospel music originally made famous by icons like Bill Monroe, the Carter Family, Ralph Stanley, and a few outliers like the Eagles and Linda Ronstadt. Two sisters and a family friend play banjo, guitar, and mandolin as they sing three-part harmony, while the sisters’ dad plays an electric upright bass.
Performing weekly as the host band for The Smoky Mountain Bluegrass Review at The Memories Theater in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, Mountain Highway also travels extensively to play at popular venues from New York to Texas.
