Ricky Doël (1985).
Recently active in Lisbon (PT). Straight outta Amsterdam (NL), has been a musical explorer even before he could say 'mama'.
Played the alto-saxophone. Performed in theaters with his teacher, who thought he was a great talent and tried to encourage him to continue playing the sax. Later on, he came across the electronic way of making music.
His interest shifted to producing R&B and HipHop. In 2004 the hit single 'Need to feel loved' by Reflekt, opened his heart and found his love for dance music.
His massive passion for music and instinctual selective expression is noticeable in Ricky's DJ sets which are always a journey, starting with a slow and sexy groove, gradually picking up the pace, and finishing with a bang.
His style can be described as deep, minimal, and sexy.
