Logan Ellis Sheppard Biography
Logan Ellis Sheppard is an L.A.-based drummer, percussionist, and producer. He is the current touring drummer for lo-fi king POWFU, and has performed with artists such as TOTO, Steve Lukather, Paul Reed Smith, Ellis Hall (Tower of Power), George Lynch (Dokken) and Bruce Kulick (KISS).
Logan is as comfortable working in the studio as he is on stage - whether creating original music with iconic producer Sylvia Massy (RHCP, Tool), tracking drums for the 2020 SCOOB! movie with Grammy-winning producer Mark Nilan (Lady Gaga), or creating beats for rising artists with legendary engineer David J Holman (No Doubt, Gwen Stefani).
Logan is a skilled reader, experienced in Ableton, Ableton Live, Logic and ProTools, and adept with clicks, tracks and hybrid setups. Additionally, he possesses perfect pitch - an ability that allows unique support of and communication with singers, bandmates and musical directors.
Logan is a graduate of the acclaimed 1500 Sound Academy, and proudly endorses Paiste Cymbals, Remo Drumheads, Humes and Berg Cases and KickBlock drum/pedal brakes.
