Two stages. Eight acts. One EPIC first Friday of summer. Underground Music Collective — that’s us! — will return to our homeland of Bethlehem, PA for a summertime party unlike any we’ve ever thrown. We’ll once again team with our friends at Your Next Favorite Band at SteelStacks, as we present Sounds of the Underground: Songwriters of Eastern Pennsylvania. This special evening full of homegrown talent will take place on Friday, June 21 — the first Friday of summer — beginning at 7:30 p.m. For this spectacular evening, we’ll be on not one, but both outdoor stages on the SteelStacks campus. The fun begins with a songwriter’s round on the Levitt Pavilion stage — in front of the iconic Bethlehem Steel blast furnaces — beginning at 7:30 p.m. From there, the party kicks into overdrive, with full band performances just across 1st St. on the Highmark Blue Shield Community Stage on the Air Products Town Square beginning at 9 p.m. Full lineup details will be announced in the coming weeks. In the meantime, mark your calendars and make plans to celebrate the Summer Solstice with us back in the Christmas City! Oh, and one more thing… it’s free to attend!
