The Mighty Reapers

The Mighty Reapers, founded by "Continental" Robert Susz & Dave Brewer, toured their Funky, Good Rockin' Blues & Soul, extensively around Australia in the 1990s. They released a half a dozen award winning albums in Australia and the USA.  They were also the band of choice to back touring USA Blues and Soul greats like Big Jay McNeely, Margie Evans, Louisiana Red, Hubert Sumlin, Lucky Peterson to name a few. They even recorded albums with Big Jay & Margie while they were in town.  These days Mighty Reapers shows are a rare event as Dave Brewer has moved back home to W.A.Marrickville Bowling Club, 1st June, SAVE THE DATE for the ALL STAR Line-up.  Dave Brewer - guitar & vocals "Continental" Robert - harmonica & vocals Clayton Doley - organ & vocals "Skinny Junior" Antero Ceschin - drums& AMAZINGLY Ray Beadle on bass (after the loss of "Mr Showbiz" Vito Portolesi who, tragically died prematurely a few years ago) Ray will of course swap with Dave & have a featured spot featuring him singing up a storm and working that guitar,  like he's famous for!! COME AND GET SOME!
