UFOMAMMUT s’est formé à la fin des années 90’ par Poia (guitares, FXs) et Urlo (basse, voix, FXs, synthés), renaissant des cendres de l'ancien groupe Judy Corda, avec Vita (batterie).Depuis plus de deux décennies, UFOMAMMUT combine la lourdeur et la puissance de riffs dynamiques nuancés par leur interprétation de la tradition psychédélique, créant un son cosmique, futuriste et technicolor destiné à une immersion absolue.UFOMAMMUT revient en mai 2024 avec un nouvel opus Hidden , via Neurot Recordings et Supernatural Cat.INFORMATION PRATIQUE : Accès au concert à partir de 6 ans.Gratuit pour les enfants de 6 à 12 ans accompagnés d'un parent détenteur d'une place, dans la limite des places disponibles. Ufomammut Biography
Ufomammut is a power trio formed in 1999 in Italy by Poia, Urlo and Vita.
The band is worldwide recognized for its unique genre of space sludge that combines a monumental riffing attitude with a peculiar kind of futuristic psychedelia.
In 20 years, among a number of other works, the trio has published eight studio albums, mainly under Supernatural Cat (the record label of Malleus Rock Art Lab of which Poia and Urlo are founders) and the last 3 for Neurot Recordings.
Ufomammut has toured several times all over Europe, Russia, Usa, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and has been present in the most important heavy music festivals around the World.
The artworks and live shows are supported by the graphic and video art of Malleus, the rock artists’ collective of which Poia and Urlo are part, who conjure the entirety of Ufomammut’s visual impact.
At the beginning of January 2020 the drummer Vita left the band.
In April 2021 Ufomammut are back, Levre is the new drummer.
