Cocktail Combo plays the classics you know, but with a twist. Whether it’s Uptown Funk as a ballad, Billy Joel as a tango, or ragtime Britney Spears, they shake up your favorite songs in new and exciting ways. This group features Jordan and Michael's all-encompassing vocals and beatboxing, combined with Nate’s innovative piano playing to deliver an experience like no other. Their signature ingredient is the "Wheel of Genres". They take song requests at every show and invite people to spin the wheel, determining how they play the song. This has led to such gems as "That's Amore" as hip hop, "Bad Romance" as opera, and "Levitating" as a country tune. Cocktail Combo brings the classics you know, but with a twist. Whether it’s Uptown Funk as a ballad, Eagles gone reggae, or ragtime Britney Spears, these musical mixologists will shake up your favorite songs in new and exciting ways!
Jordan Roll, Michael Brookens, and Nate Hance all met in music school. Jordan and Michael went on to form the world champion a cappella group Six Appeal, while Nate established his playful style charming audiences all over the world.
They started Cocktail Combo as a way to freshen up songs they’ve played hundreds of times, utilizing their creativity and combined depth of musical knowledge. The all-encompassing vocals and beatboxing of Jordan and Michael, combined with Nate’s innovative and virtuosic piano playing deliver an experience like no other. The signature ingredients for each show include a multitude of musical genres, timeless hit songs, and live improvisation garnished with a dash of personality.
