Gregory was Great!!! Ray was good too! I’m more of a Gregory fan so I’m biased. The venue the Greek Theatre is a very cool little spot. However they put these pole markers up with blue squares at the top that have letters and numbers on them for showing the sections of seating. They leave them up during the show until the headliner starts which s really dumb. Greg and Ray were co-headliners and they left them up through half of Greg’s set. It is a total joke. If you’re sitting near one it can be a visual obstruction and ruin your experience. They have ushers so there’s no need to even have these ugly poles sticking up in peoples way. Not a very good idea GREEK THEATRE get rid of the dumb poles with blue signs. Steven

Only saw Erin & Gregory. Had a long, long drive to make after the show. Erin Rae was pleasant, she’s a very good songwriter and singer. Gregory Alan Isakov was almost a revelatory experience. It was no surprise to find out he and most of his band have been playing together since they were young. There appears to be something telepathic going on when these guys play. Kind of amazing at times. ✌️

Fabulous as always. Only criticism is the inside of the Mission Ballroom is SO DARK its not safe. I saw 3 people fall over things/other people when they came in from the bright outside lights to a completely BLACK venue. Please bring the lights up some, at least until 10 min before the show starts. Also-I don't like the lighting. Can't see the performers because the stage lighting is SO CONCENTRATED. Tone it down or add some white. Otherwise, Gregory is always a 10/10!

About Gregory Alan Isakov

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and now calling Colorado home, horticulturist/musician Gregory Alan Isakov has cast an impressive presence on the indie-rock and folk worlds with his six full-length studio albums: That Sea, The Gambler; This Empty Northern Hemisphere; The Weatherman; Gregory Alan Isakov with the Colorado Symphony; Evening Machines (nominated for a Grammy award for Best Folk Album), and his newest album, Appaloosa Bones. Isakov tours internationally with his band, and has performed with several national symphony orchestras across the United States.

Isakov’s new record, Appaloosa Bones, was released on August 18, 2023 (via Dualtone/Suitcase Town Music). Of the album, MOJO states, "“Prime Isakov: his velvet baritone glides over elegant and shimmering Wild West mirages.” The Associated Press proclaims, "He has that magical ability to convey both urgency and grandeur at the same time…Simple. Straightforward. Utterly evocative.” And No Depression declares, “this is Isakov’s genius. He turns a short poem into a magnificent piece of music that can captivate for hours."

In support of the new record, Isakov has confirmed an extensive international tour through 2024, including the US, Canada, Europe, United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Australia. When he is not on the road, he runs Starling Farm (a small farm in Boulder County), which provides produce to CSA members, restaurants, and Community Food Share (a local food bank).
