About this concert
Hybrid, festa idealizada por DJ Murdarah e Trash Van Traxxx em Barcelona de 2006 - 2010.
O contexto era o surgimento do Dubstep e o alge do Breakcore na cena undeground da cidade. Foram 4 anos de festas absurdas, contando com suporte de diversos coletivos da cena Europeia e do próprio território Espanhol.
Pelos nossos DJ booth passaram artistas internacionais peso pesado como: Bizzy B., Krumble, Detest, Major Klent, Goth Trad, Statix entre outros. E artistas da cena nacional como : Autopsy Protocol, Narkopsi, Amph, Cauto, Chelis entre outros muito mais.
A ideia da festa sempre foi trazer musica de vanguarda e estabelecer uma conexão com a pista trazendo o novo e muitas vezes esquisitices que vao alem do senso comum dos propio participantes.
14 anos depois, Hybrid desembarca em Sao Paulo, agora sob nova direção e com novo nome: Hybrid Riddim!
Prontos para causar o mesmo efeito causado em tempos passados e lugares distintos.

"Get the Kingsmen, Squarepusher, The Sonics, Merzbow, Jimmy Smith plus Patric Catani and put them in one room, with lots of LSD. When they are high, you kill everybody. Then you chop up the corpses and make pies. Sell those pies to little school kids. Day later, teach those children how to play instruments. Whenever they make their first song, you kill them then chop their bodies. and take some lsd. Now you bury them in a drag race track, while the cars are passing by, nobody will notice, because you are gonna be dressed up like a drag race gravedigger. After two weekends of drag races, you steal the 4 cars with the best times and burn them in the same room where you killed the Kingsmen, Squarepusher, The Sonics, Merzbow, Jimmy Smith and Patric Catani. It's gonna be a damn good fire, so better buy some marshmallows or some steaks. Some beer is always good. Finish it watching the fire for 666 minutes, drinking good beer, eating your steak. This is exactly how retrigger sounds."
Retrigger is an electronic musician from Brasil, also known as Raul Costa, who has been producing hard and experimental music, with a twist of stupidity, since the year of 2001. He has released tracks in labels from different countries, in 5 different continents. His sounds range from breakcore to 60s psychadelia, from drill and bass to surf music, from garage rock to hip hop, mostly sounding like all of those at the same time
