Eksman

Kevin Forrester better known as MC Eksman is a Drum and Bass musician, originally born in Brockley, South London in 1980. Eksman started his career back in 1996 and spent many years writing, polishing his performance and enhancing his lyrics until launching himself into the forefront of the Drum and Bass scene. His first big break came in 2003, when he got he was recognised as ‘Best Newcomer’ at both industry favourite Knowledge Magazine awards as well as the Accelerated Culture awards. These two events saw his public profile take off dramatically, and raised his profile from an underground MC to many bookings for UK & International promotions. His success story continued going from from a virtual newcomer to a forefront of the scene, where in 2004 he lifted the ‘Best Lyrical MC’ title from Skibadee - an award, for which eleven thousand people had voted worldwide.
