Half As Bad

A dynamic Austin based power trio rooted in punk, alternative and rock. Formed in January of 2017 Half As Bad was created by lead vocalist/bass player James Daily. Half As Bad released three singles in early 2018, Bitchin' Summer, I Was Gonna Tell You, and Today. These singles were recorded by recording engineer Kevin Butler @kevinbutlerproductions. Since their release, these three singles have been captivating audiences and getting worldwide attention via Spotify/Apple Music. Later that year Half As Bad stepped back into the studio and released their first full length album entitled 'Wild City’ on November 16th 2018.

Since then Half as Bad is back in the studio mixing a new album set to be released in August 2023 on Otitis Media Records. Early in 2022 the band shuffled the lineup and had James Daily move from lead vocalist/bass player to lead vocalist/guitarist, Ernesto Calderon moved from guitars/backing vocals to drums/backing vocals and the band added Michelle Ramone to round things out on bass/backing vocals. The new lineup is excited to release the upcoming album and begin promoting it via live shows in the coming year. They also plan to begin work on the next album immediately after its release.
