Mockingbird

MOCKINGBIRD are a hard rockin' power-trio from Ireland. Formed by Ian O' Sullivan and brothers Noel & Phil Cunningham in 2010, their mission was to strip it back to basics, pump up the volume and simply ROCK! This attitude is reflected in their storming live shows where their own songs sit quite comfortably side by side with classics from the likes of AC/DC, Judas Priest or Free. The band's original tracks form the backbone of the live show however, and their hook-laden, no-nonsense power-rock has any crowd singing along in no time! In 2011 the single 'Steal your Heart Away' hit no.2 in the Irish Download charts and the band followed this up in 2012 with their debut EP 'Fresh Cuts', the first run of which sold out quickly at live shows. Since then Mockingbird have enjoyed regular air play on radio stations around the world and the wealth of positive media feedback led to the band being included on the bill for the prestigious WIZZFEST in Belgium in March 2013. The only difficulty the band face now is which songs to pick from their already impressive live repertoire to include on their debut album which will be released later this year! 70s inspired Rock/Blues Band based in Cork, Ireland.
