De Amsterdam Klezmer Band maakt al meer dan 25 jaar een onweerstaanbare mix van klezmer, balkan en jazz. Ze bouwden een internationale reputatie op met hun onderscheidende geluid, virtuoze muzikaliteit en dansbare grooves. Met het nieuwe album Bomba Pop komen ze terug naar Luxor Live! Mix een dosis klezmer met een snufje jazz, voeg een shot Balkan en een vleugje Gypsy toe, et voilà, je hebt het recept voor Amsterdam Klezmer Band. Koperblazers, contrabas, accordeon en percussie versterken elkaar met pulserende grooves vol subtiele maar toch rauwe energie. De band slaagt erin hun muziek fris, urgent en vaak zeer dansbaar te houden, waar ze ook op het podium staan. Op Bomba Pop is opnieuw de samenwerking aangegaan met de Weense dj en producer Dunkelbunt die bekend staat om zijn uiterst dansbare, kosmopolitische tracks!

Unfortunately, no Odessa tunes this time. But Hip-Hop, Gypsy-Swing, Turkish grooves and Klezmer to the bone. A very nice show and very entertaining!
