Marathon Biography
There are 5 bands with the name (Marathon):
#1: Marathon was a short-lived disco group in the '70s.
#2: Marathon was a melodic punk band from various parts of upstate New York, formed from the ashes of bands such as Standfast, De La Hoya, and Building On Fire. They toured the US and won fans with their sincere political lyrics and catchy melodies.
Recently Marathon played their final two shows in New Brunswick, NJ and Syracuse, NY.
#3: Marathon was a pop/rock band fronted by Chuck Carrier. The band released two albums, "The Year of You" and "Better Things Than I (1996)", before disbanding.
