DJ, producer, MC, actor, director, activist and many roles in between; Charlotte’s whole adult life has been entrenched in rave and underground dance music culture since her earliest manoeuvres on pirate radio and as a founding member of the pioneering dance troupe the Narni Shakers.
Renowned for her high-energy sets, her versatile style, deep love for MC culture and ability to really work a crowd and wind them up to feverish levels, Charlotte can flex on any line-up, among any combination of DJs across all genres from Drum & Bass Jungle to Bassline , Garage, House and beyond. Whether she’s whipping things up peak-time at any world-class club in any corner of the raving world, or she’s blasting off another unique online stream with a legendary MC (often in the back of a taxi) for her Hologram Sessions series, Charlotte’s energy and unique raw sense of entertainment matches her precision selection.
This is business as usual for the firebrand artist: breaking the mould since day one, forever fighting inequality, Charlotte has continually smashed glass ceilings and blazed boundaries down to the ground. As a producer and artist she’s been responsible for a countless anthems, including the Platinum selling Snoop Dogg-featured ‘Flip It’, the viral smash ‘Girls’ with SHOSH and a whole host of collaborations with artists ranging from Ragga Twins to Fatman Scoop, Lady Leshurr to Lil Debbie.
As a promoter, she’s blessed the world with a wide range of raves from her involvement in the Freedom To Dance march in 2021 (where she brought together an all-star line-up and performed to over 50,000 revellers on the streets of London in protest of the covid lockdown) to her recent collective the 180 Society which champions and celebrates the immense female talent across drum and bass right now and regularly holds court in the world famous Ministry Of Sound.
Behind the scenes, Charlotte brings just as much energy, innovation and passion: her multi-online PETA campaign video (‘Avocado’ with Rich The Kid) has been viewed tens of millions of times, her music has been sync’d and commissioned by worldwide brands such as Rimmel and she’s even enjoyed time on the big screen with a role on the Hollywood film How To Lose Friends & Alienate People alongside Simon Pegg and Megan Foxx.
Meanwhile her company Karma London takes things to even higher levels. A 360 creative powerhouse organisation that comprises management, a label and a multi-media department, Charlotte and her team represent and work with some of the most influential artists in underground culture including jungle originators Fabio & Grooverider. Responsible for over 5 millions views on their Hologram Sessions concept alone, Karma represents Charlotte’s creative force, infectious spirit and sky’s-the-limit vision.
