Marvara performs highly energetic folk music composed by bagpipe player Marieke Van Ransbeeck (BE). The music reflects Marieke’s experiences and memories from a breath-taking musical journey in the Nordic countries. Marieke is accompanied by 4 musicians: bass player Frederik Mensink (DK), cittern player Villads Hoffman (DK) and percussionist Mårten Hillbom (SE) and diatonic accordion player Hilke Bauweraerts (BE).

Marvara presents their music through an interactive show that will tease all of your senses. Get ready to experience some powerful melodies, badass harmonies, sexy slow tunes, devilish polskas, karaoke and even some pop music influences.
