Carrie Rudzinski

Named Best Female Poet at her first national poetry competition, CARRIE RUDZINSKI has performed her work across New Zealand, Australia, Canada, India and almost all 50 of the United States. Ranked 4th in the world at the 2014 Women of the World Poetry Slam and 7th at the 2013 Individual World Poetry Slam, Carrie's work has been featured in The Huffington Post, Bustle and Teen Vogue. A teaching artist, Carrie taught performance poetry at California State University Northridge and lectured in creative writing and performance arts at Manukau Institute of Technology’s Faculty of Creative Arts in Auckland, New Zealand. Her 3rd book The Shotgun Speaks is available on Amazon and her five spoken word albums can be found on Spotify and iTunes. She is currently on tour with Hysterical, a two-women feminist poetry show.
