heads up y'all: this summer season, the Elsewhere Rooftop will be open all night on weekends space and weather permitting, so grab a frozen drink with a view of the skyline when you need a breather! make sure to check out our rooftop schedule below. there’s always lots else to explore too! most nights are multi-room celebrations, featuring a dynamic lineup of local and international talent in the hall and zone one. if you haven’t noticed already, our loft tucked into the 2nd floor now has its own dj booth and hosts free parties throughout the week. make sure to wander! ---- ☼ About Elsewhere RooftopElsewhere Rooftop is a seasonal large outdoor bar and events space, offering a signature frozen drink menu, shows & parties, sunset DJ sessions, food pop-ups, film screenings, art happenings, and much more all summer. Lauren Lo Sung Biography
Lauren Lo Sung is known for her dub techno sound entwined with; grooves, breaks and impeccable basslines, influenced by the intricacies of Chicago and Detroit house. The warm textures and ascribed complex layers of sound still keep true to her roots with that UK underground feel.
Lauren's career is fuelled by the success of her established club night LOLiFE, which launched in 2009 and has so far been held at various underground venues across Manchester and Liverpool. It has showcased a number of cutting edge artists including Jordan Peak and Samu.l amongst others and in 2012 LOLiFE was selected as an official clubbing partner of Manchester’s finest ‘The Warehouse Project’.
Throughout her short career, Lauren has shown true determination along side her natural flair, which simultaneously has led to a number of her productions being released on labels such as Deep Tech Records, DRAFT and soon Hector's Vatos Locos imprint. Her solid basslines with smooth harmonic turns have grabbed the attention of many high profile artists such as; DJ Sneak, Sidney Charles, Duky, Him_Self_Her, Hector (Desolat), Samu.l, Crocodile Soup and Chad Andrew.
Lauren's talent has led to her headlining events such as; Parklife Festival Manchester, The Warehouse Project, Love System Festival in Croatia, Electric Days in Dubai, Sankeys Ibiza, Brussels Belgium, Yousef's CIRCUS, Sankeys Manchester, Switzerland, Malta and last but not least, the infamous Amnesia Milan.
Her impressive DJ performances have led to her winning "Liverpool ECHO DJ of the Year 2014", secured her residencies with EGG London, TRMNL in Birmingham, WAXXX in Liverpool, and her own live radio show on EGG Radio, named "The LOLiFE Show".
Named "A true rising star of her generation" by Ibiza Spotlight and selected to play Space, Ibiza for Carl Cox's final season of "The Revolution." As well as a full page feature in DJ MAG's "Get to Know Section recently.
