About this concert
Formed in mid 2018, Kishmul is comprised of four musicians who, all having very different musical backgrounds, met on the Edinburgh session scene. All multi-instrumentalists, they started playing together by attending each other's sessions and quickly became good friends. Taking influences from Ireland, Scotland, the Isle of Man, and continental Europe, their music is a unique blend of many folk music traditions, complimenting one another to make a rich inimitable flavour.
