Ed no sólo ha dedicado más de una década a cantar clásicos del jazz, bolero, bossa-nova, sino que también ha logrado satisfacer su ineludible necesidad de componer, plasmando en partituras sus intereses e inquietudes, historias y experiencias. Sus canciones son cuidadas y equilibradas, de una gran intensidad en las tres dimensiones: música, letra e interpretación.

Ed López está recorriendo el mundo. Recientemente, con su proyecto "Bolero Jazz" ha logrado una interesante fusión entre las culturas de aquellos países que han servido de nutrientes a su arte. Su música ha sido razón y excusa en esta aventura que lo ha llevado por países como Argentina, México, Estados Unidos y España. Y es en cada uno de estos puertos que ha conseguido inmediatamente el reconocimiento y apoyo de los más prestigiosos músicos locales, maestros y, sobre todo, del público. Un público que no ha quedado indiferente ante el sonido de su voz y su sencilla a la vez que sólida presencia, en una combinación única que hace de Ed López un intérprete definitivamente memorable.

Ed has not only spent more that a decade to singing jazzz standards, bolero and bossa-nova, but he has also satisfied his need for composing and sogwriting.

Ed Lopez is roaming he world. With his latest Project, "Bolero Jazz", he has achieved an interesting blend with the culture of those countries that have been inspiring his art. His music has been the reason for this adventure that has got him to Argentina, Mexico, USA and Spain. And it is on each of these places that he has got acknowledgement from the most prestigious local musicians, instructors, and, most of all, from the audience. An audience that cannot remain indifferent to the sound of his voice, as well as to his humble yet solid presence.

Mostly self-taught, Ed Lopez has taken voice lessons for the last ten years with several instructors from Argentina, USA and Spain. Before getting into singing he played sax and drums. He has been part of an Argentinian TV Show for singers in 2002 called "El Certamen" as one of the finalists. He has been working in Mexico for the last eight years at some of the most prestigious restaurants and hotels as the leader of their house-bands. He has led many jazz, bolero and bossa-nova bands in Argentna, Mexico and Spain.
