BIOGRAPHY
PETER VON TOY is quite a curiosity and certainly the most independent artist on the scene. In a deliberate attempt to go back to something organic in an industry gone wrong and in a world where people prefer streaming rather than supporting live music, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EXISTIING RECORDED MUSIC OR LIVE VIDEOS.
His rock drenched blues tinted folk songs only live live and travel the world solely by word of mouth. A novel and pioneering method that combined with a naturaly charming stage persona, an incredible stage presence and a true gift for songwriting has led him to play over 200 live shows, in 17 countries across 2 continents including support slots for GILBY CLARKE, NASHVILLE PUSSY, THE HILLBILLY MOON EXPLOSION, BOB WAYNE, JETTBLACK or BROTHER DEGE.
Most prestigious venues include O2 ISLINGTON (London, UK), THE GARAGE (London, UK), THE BORDERLINE (London, UK), VERA (Groeningen, NL), CHEZ PAULETTE (Toul, FR), OZZY ROCK (Bogota, CO) BOURBON ST (Cali, CO) & ROISIN DUBH (Galway, IR).
