Chapter: SOUL is New Orleans’ latest funk innovation. Featuring a collaboration of saxophonist Calvin Johnson, Kashonda Bailey on keys, and Terry Scott Jr. on drums the band is adding a fresh powerful sound to the world of funk and soul. Blending old-school horn licks with modern sounds over tight beats for a verifiable crowd favorite, Chapter: SOUL is currently tracking its debut album and plans for a 2017 release.

Calvin Johnson is a New Orleans saxophonist bred from an extensive lineage of musicians. He is a graduate of New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) and has a degree in Business from the University of New Orleans. Calvin has performed, toured, and recorded with Aaron Neville, Harry Connick Jr., Big Sam's Funky Nation, Irvin Mayfield, The New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, and many others.
