O que os fãs estão dizendo
I have been a Bunnymen fan for many years first seeing them in the 1980's.
However in the last few years I felt the level of performance from Mac has been diminishing as he is often appearing under the influence of something and mumbling in between songs. Even in his solo appearances in Liverpool too, and I had said I wouldn't bother going again.
However at the new album launch in Liverpool on the 20th September he was back on top form. Appearing on stage bang on time, the performance was excellent, with a load of the classics as well as some of the new songs from the new album.
He was controlled, tight with the band and you could understand when he talked!!
Would definitely look to go to the new album tour date in Liverpool.

The band was tight and great, albeit a different sound on this tour. But Ian was disappointing. His vocals were inconsistent at best. He babbled on incoherently ( not only due to his accent) and appeared agitated with the band and stagehand. He stopped singing and let the audience sing way too often. I think it’s the end of the Bunnymen, at least with Ian leading them.

We paid to see the musicians but we couldn’t see them especially the lead singer. He was just a silhouette the whole time because the lighting was behind him and not ON him. It was probably intentional but it’s disappointing when one comes to hear and SEE them.
Ian’s voice was gravely but he was sick so will cut mom some slack. He could have cancelled the show.
That said, the sound system was great.
