Electronic duo CUT_ took off rapidly after their rendition of Stromae’s ‘Papaoutai’ went viral. A cover the maestro himself shared on Facebook to display his approval. CUT_ has since then played numerous shows, including performances at Lowlands, Pitch, ADE and various appearances on Dutch national television. After retreating to the French Alps to work on new material and signing a record deal with [PIAS] in May, CUT_ is proud to present its new single “Tune In Tune Out” (mixed and co-produced by Leo Abrahams), which will be released in September of this year. “We feel our music is a crossover between dark alternative electronics and edgy pop music. Trying to combine our love for the two, we’ve been very inspired by a new style of songwriting that’s been greatly evolving the last few years. Acts such as Flume, Aluna George and Jamie XX paved a fresh way for us.
