Dolly Mavies

Dolly Mavies: The Buffy the Vampire slayer of the music world, dark, mysterious, with songs that pack a raw, punch-you-in-the-gut honesty, that'll send you into another dimension. Paving the way to a new world, the post-folk movement, blending elements of alternative rock, folk storytelling, and atmospheric dream pop, creating something both intimate and stadium worthy, multi-task much?

With outstanding ethereal vocals reminiscent of Daughter and Florence & The Machine and a musical nod to Ben Howard Mavies ebbs and flows between riotous anthems, heartfelt lullabies, fist pumping rebellion, and dreamy haze. Honest songs which will stand the test of time and find themselves at home amongst any legendary line-up.

"If Dolly Mavies isn’t as big as Mumford & Sons by the end of the year, someone may as well scorch the earth of the music industry so we can start again. It’s punk as fuck, yet, Mavies still maintains that ever-addictive girl-next-door appeal." - A&R Factory
"A massively talented new artist serving up catchy yet haunting folk infused indie."" - Gigslutz"
