Ty Cooper is an Americana Soul singer-songwriter from Pitchin, OH, an unincorporated village a few miles from The Champion City of Springfield.

He grew up listening to an eclectic mix of Motown, bluegrass, hip and hop and rhythm and blues. He starred on many sports teams until he picked up a guitar at the age of 17, which eventually led to performing shows across the Midwest from Columbus to Dayton to Cincinnati and Nashville. He performs covers of smooth love songs like the George Jones/Chris Stapleton hit “Tennessee Whiskey” and Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get it On.” He also performs originals like the upbeat “Thanks to You” and “Dancing in the Rain.”

Cooper’s first single, “On the Move”, was released in May of 2015, which was followed by a four-song EP. A second EP is scheduled to be released this spring.
