At the age of 9, he discovered hip hop, a lifelong love affair that led him to explore the rich history of Black American music, which he now considers the foundation of all modern popular music.

Although Mange Schmidt initially played drums and guitar as a child, he now primarily focuses on crafting melodies and lyrics, collaborating with other musicians to bring his creative visions to life. He is deeply involved in every aspect of the creative process, from songwriting and arrangement to production and mixing.

Mange Schmidt has enjoyed a successful career in the music industry, spanning five albums, one EP, and numerous singles. He has performed live extensively for nearly two decades, gracing stages across Sweden, Norway, Finland, Spain, and the United States. His musical achievements include multiple gold, platinum, and multi-platinum certifications for his albums and singles, as well as several Grammy nominations.

This transition involves a shift from Swedish to English lyrics, from rap to singing, and from hip hop to indie electronica. New singles from his upcoming project will be released gradually throughout 2024, culminating in a full album release.
