RUEDA nos presenta su trabajo más intimista, construido de loops envolventes y sin poner trabas a la creatividad; un constructo hiper-vocal, abierto a nuevas etiquetas, a nuevas interpretaciones de lo que hacer música, tanto acústica como electrónica. Un proyecto por primera vez unipersonal, en el que un pequeño Casio, palmas, percusiones simples, sintes y cientos de voces son el acompañamiento. También incorpora músicos como pianista, bajista o guitarristas en directo, resultando en un show diferente cada vez. Sus nuevas canciones la han llevado ya a la semifinal del MálagaCreaRock 2016, el XV Certamen de Jóvenes Creadores en Sevilla y a salas como Siroco y Caracol. Ha colaborado con Calle Sonora y SofarSounds en 2017.

Lola Rueda es sevillana de nacimiento y nómada de profesión. Escribe una tesis doctoral en literatura en inglés sobre viajes en el tiempo. Anterior 'resident alien' en EEUU, en UK o ahora en Madrid.

Comenzó su andadura en la música tiempo atrás hace ya más de 10 años con su grupo de rock femenino She. En 2009 se lanzó en solitario con banda de rock, adoptando su nombre como nombre artístico: RUEDA. Compone y produce un EP, "Deseo", disponible en Spotify y otras plataformas. En 2012 realiza con Paradoja Films el videoclip "Apuesto el Resto". Ha puesto música a cortos y webseries, y grabado anuncios para la tele. En 2014, junto al productor Antonio Escobar graba el LP inédito, Modern Science, explorando el pop y la electrónica, y estrenan el videoclip "Off to Space and Back".

RUEDA introduces us to her most intimate musical work. Hypervocal loops that let creativity run free. A new way of making music, somehow acoustic and electronic. A solo project, for the first time, which includes her playing instruments such as guitar, keyboards, or percussion elements. This goes together with hundred of vocal tracks that create the atmosphere for her lyrics to deliver. She also incorporates musicians such as pianist, bassplayer, guitarrists or drums, resulting in a different live show every time.

Lola Rueda was born in southern Spain, but has been a nomad for years. She writes her dissertation on time travel and identity. Former resident alien in the US, UK or Madrid now.

She started her music career more than 10 years ago, leading the all-girl rock band She until she started up solo with rock band in 2009, editing her album "Deseo", available in Spotify and other platforms online, later shooting the music vid "Apuesto el Resto". She's composed and/or sung jingles and the tunes for short films and web series. In 2014, together with the producer Antonio Escobar, she records the (yet) unreleased album called "Modern Science", releasing their music video "Off to Space and Back".
