Blending elements of Jazz, Soul and Indie-Pop, Ben Cipolla captures a unique vibrant yet chilled sound. His distinctive upbeat and percussive guitar style is inspired by the likes of Nick Drake, Jack Johnson and Lianne La Havas. Having experienced a number of successes including plays on BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2, the Bristol-based artist has just released his brand new album ‘Casa Mia’. Though born and raised in Wiltshire, the album is about exploring and celebrating his Sicilian roots. The release has led to highly rated album reviews from magazines, such as Wonderland, F Word, Backseat Mafia and Earmilk. Having built a reputation for himself as 'one to watch' on the UK Jazz scene, Cipolla has performed at the BBC Swing Jazz Prom at the Royal Albert Hall with Clare Teal, appeared on lineups alongside artists like Gregory Porter at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival, as well as gracing the stage at Manchester Jazz Festival, WOMAD and Shambala Festival.
