Formed in 1996 as the Unknown Blues Band , with founding members Big Al Lauro, Warren Haynes ( Allman Bros, Gov't Mule), and Rick Gergen ( Sweethearts of the Rodeo), the band has been featured at festivals and venues throughout the US since.
The latest album, Blues Power on Vizztone Records is the band's 9th release. From greasy funk to lowdown blues and zydeco too, this is a fine representation of true American roots music. The album includes the band’s classic, IF that was featured on Sirius XM’s BB King’s Bluesville channel and was in the Rack of Blues as one of the nation’s top blues songs. Also Big Freight Train another selection from the new album is being played on Sirius XM’s Outlaw Country
