Popescu Iulia Alexandra[a] (born 2 October 1991), known professionally as Sandra N. is a Romanian singer, songwriter and actress.Born in Câmpulung Muscel, studied at a catholic Irish school (Saint Jacob School), Dinicu Golescu highschool-foreign languages, and is licensed in Journalism and Science of Communication, graduating FJSC, from University of Bucharest. She was national olimpic at History and Philosophy. She studied 3 years with voice-trainer from XFactor - Crina Mardare. At 14 years she had her first album of pop songs, half of them composed by her; she was playing piano and guitar. In 2011 she met producer and Akcent member: Adrian Sina, and started pursuing a music career. She adopted the stage name "Sandra N." and adopted a dance style. Her debut song Adrian Sina feat Sandra N.- Angel(2011), and Akcent feat Sandra N.-I’m sorry(2012), both of them being top 5 heavy rotation songs in Romania, and also in other countries like Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, U.K., Russia, Mexic, India, Turkey and all balkan countries.


Her first single is Obsession (2011), which aired in Spain, Mexic.


In 2012 receives the Best Debut of the year Award, at Radar de Media Awards.


In 2013 she releases Akcent feat Sandra N.- Boracay, the song was in music charts of all balkan countries and also India.

In 2014 she releases another single featuring Marius Nedelcu, former Akcent member, "Prima Iubire", and the singles Liar and Ballerina who went on music charts in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kosovo, Russia, Lebanon, Brasil and other countries.


In 2013 obtains a role as an actress in ProTv tv-series “A new life”.


In 2014 she attends NRJ Music Festival in Beirut.


In 2015 she releases her most popular single “Mă dor ochii, mă dor” who was number 1 on youtube trending, has 70 million views and went on top heavy rotation songs in MediaForest Romania.


In 2015 releases another featuring with Akcent, “Amor Gitana”, which became a hit song in all balkan countries.



Her next singles are: “N-am băut nimic” (2016) “French Boy” (2016) “Nimic nu e întâmplător” (2017), “De dragul tău” (2018)

and collaborations: “Să mă săruți” (2016), “Noi amintiri” (2019), “Trandafiri” (2019), “Nemuritoare”, “Bangladesh” (2019).



In 2019 signes a deal with Thrace Music label and release the single “Chameleon” who is on music charts in Turkey.



She had live performances in all the cities of Romania and in countries like: Lebanon, Russia, Pakistan, Cyprus.



She is songrwriter on all the songs she sings (lyrics and music) and for other artists too.



She has more than 350.000.000 views on youtube.
