Blair Coron

Blair Coron is a musician and poet from Springfield, a small village in Fife, Scotland. His quiet and intimate style blends the genres of modern classical, folk, poetry and traditional melodies. Nature is a recurring presence in his work, not simply to write about, but to offer a place for his audiences to wander through.

After the success of his debut album On the Nature of Things, Blair released his second album and accompanying film Cairn, in collaboration with the School of Scottish Studies Archives and National Trust for Scotland. It is a celebration of Scottish heritage, a thank you to all it has given so far, containing new music set to archival interviews of those living in the Highlands and Islands during the early 20th century discussing local legends, childhood reminiscences and traditions long forgotten.

Currently, Blair is about to release his new film and companion EP 'Woven Ground', on October 2nd. For this project, Blair wanted nature to be more of an immediate part of his work, so he took his recording equipment and instruments and friends to the mountains, islands and forests across Scotland to record within these places that he was writing about. With microphones also directed towards the landscapes, to allow the trees and birds and rivers to have their own place in the music as songwriters also.

He is also planning a UK and EU tour in early 2027 and beginning work on his next studio album as well as publishing his first book of poetry.
