The AJs are an acoustic, jam band playing covers and original material. The Band has a variety of influences and backgrounds such as the Dave Matthews Band, Paul Simon, Phil Keaggy, Jann Arden and many more. The AJs love to perform and often make use of three part vocal harmony.

The AJs have been playing together since 2007 and are from Greater Moncton in New Brunswick. All three of the members had performed together in varioous other groups or ensembles prior to the bands' creation and finally decided to make the AJs a permanent group. The band enjoys combining technical ability with the loose and free flowing jam band style. The band name is derived from the first letters of each members name (Andrew, Jeremy and Jill) and was initially created as a light hearted jokename when performing at a local music event. After having performed under that name a few times the band decided to keep it.
