Sobre Corova

Since forming the band somewhere around 2004 and rehearsing for years in a dark, wet and moldy cellar, COROVA turned complete and arise two years later. The band recorded two demo songs in May 2007, which never where released on a real platform, just for the myspace purpose and to catch some shows. So they did some touring around Germany, France and Luxembourg in the past years, playing with bands like Nesseria (France), Under the Pledge of Secrecy (Germany), Do Androids dream of Electric Sheep (Luxembourg) and many more. All band members used to play in several bands (some of you might know) before; some of them were/are: Nicoffeine (Blunoise), Creutzfeldt (Bastardized Recordings, Scene Police), Aschera, Bs System and Schmetterclub. Of course the sound of COROVA is influenced by those, nevertheless it`s different… sometimes totally different. Actually it`s very hard to describe their music in an appropriate way. Call it Hardcore, call it Metal, call it Doom, call it heavy, call it slow, call it whatever. Most opinions they recieved compare them to bands like 16, Neurosis, Cult of Luna, Black Sabbath, King Crimson, Tiamat etc. Some of them fit more, some of them maybe in a single note and some of them even don`t. „Sequence of a March“ was recorded from March till April 2008 at Die Tonmeisterei, Oldenburg, Germany. The vocals were done by Sascha Hoffmann who works for Tonstudio 45. Steven (Appreciate Ground) joined the band in 2009, supporting on the vocals. Doom/Sludge/Metal
