Namito, a German-Iranian DJ and music producer from Berlin, is a fascinating personality whose life journey spans from the turbulent events of his childhood to international recognition and innovative creativity.

Born and raised in Tehran, Iran, Namito experienced the dramatic Iranian Revolution of 1979 and the Iran-Iraq War from 1980 to 1985 during his formative years. These extreme experiences not only shaped his personal development but also influenced his artistic expression.

In 1985, Namito moved to Germany and began his school education. However, he soon discovered his true passion in music and made the decision to leave school to fully dedicate himself to electronic music. In 1989, he started his DJ career in West Berlin, contributing from the outset to shaping the electronic music scene in the vibrant city with residencies in iconic clubs such as Tresor, Kit Kat Club and Sisyphos.

The breakthrough as a music producer came in 1996 when Namito released his first record. This marked the beginning of an illustrious career, crowned by international hits like "City Of Gods" in 2008 and the groundbreaking worldwide hit "Stone Flower" in 2019. The latter became the best-selling Electronica track on Beatport, catapulting Namito to the top of the worldwide Organic House scene and sold out shows across the world.

Namito's musical endeavours extended to renowned labels such as Kompakt, Bedrock, Sol Selectas, and in 2018, he founded his own label, Ubersee Music. This move allowed him to fully unleash his creative vision.

His successes led to worldwide DJ performances in over 50 countries across all five continents, in the world's finest clubs. Simultaneously, international icons like Grandmaster Flash, Monika Kruse, and Marc Romboy sought Namito's services as a creative producer.


In recent years, Namito has further refined his artistic expression by combining Western house music with profound vocals from Iran. This unique fusion was enthusiastically embraced by the global Iranian community, with his remix of Ali Kashani's "Last Journey" becoming the underground track of the year 2023 in the Persian-speaking world.

Currently, Namito's team is preparing for the 5th anniversary of his label, Ubersee Music, and a worldwide tour called “House Of Namito”.
