Né un jour de pleine lune à midi pile, le vendredi 13 octobre 1989 à Colmar (68), WHITIES, de son vrai nom Xavier Da Conceicao, est un Auteur/Compositeur/Interprète qui flirte entre la POP, l'ÉLECTRO et le FUNK dans un univers acidulé, sucré et un brin décalé !
C'est en 2011 après son arrivée à Lille qu'il crée son pseudonyme, qui joue sur la référence à la couleur blanche (la neige) et le « ies » de sixties et de seventies mais aussi avec sa manie de se balader toujours en slip dès qu'il en a l'occasion. Déjà tout un programme !
WHITIES a su développer un style et une énergie qui lui sont propres, et c’est sur scène qu’il se forge à travers de multiples concerts dans toute la France et en Europe.
Il raconte « la folie belle » de la vie, et le coté parfois fébrile de celle-ci, les humeurs planantes et changeantes de nos jours à travers la fraicheur d'une pop-électro aux antipodes de ce que l'on a l'habitude d'entendre, fédèrent l'amour et la liberté d'être qui l'on est.
Défini comme un « Ovni » avec sa signature vocale et son look, WHITIES se veut moderne pour un public de 7 à 77 ans.

Born on a full moon day at noon on Friday, October 13, 1989 in Colmar (68), WHITIES, whose real name is Xavier Da Conceicao, is a Songwriter/Composer/Singer who flirts between POP, ELECTRO and FUNK in a tart, sweet and slightly offbeat universe !
It is after his arrival in 2011 in Lille that he creates his nickname, which plays on the reference to the color white (snow) and the « ies » of the sixties and seventies but also on his mania to always walk around in his underwear whenever he has the opportunity. It says it all !
WHITIES managed to develop a style and energy all of his own, and then carve out a name for himself thanks to a number of concerts all over France and across Europe.
He tells « the beautiful madness » of life and the sometimes febrile side of it, and also the hovering and changing moods of our days through the freshness of an electro-pop which is at the antipodes of what we are used to hear, and which federate love and freedom to be who we are.
With his signature vocals and look which is reminiscent of a « UFO », WHITIES is a modern artist for anyone aged 7 to 77.
