Dinosaurchestra came together in 2014, a band of six college-educated musicians who have an intimate love for the sounds, culture, and teachings of Traditional Jazz. Through their never-ending exploration of what it means to be a New Orleans band, they have created a unique groove for the standards of ragtime, traditional swing, and classic R&B tunes. Dinosaurchestra is an ever-evolving merger between the modern and the classic. A traditional jazz six-piece influenced by the century-old origins of the genre, raised in the modern syllabus, and composed in the heart of New Orleans.
