HURACAN

Huracán is not your typical deliberately paced post-metal offering. With its razor-sharp riffs, propulsive drumming, and psych-rooted vocals, treads skillfully across substantial, rugged grounds rumbling with echoes that recall bands ranging from The Ocean to Pelican to Pallbearer.

As highly praised appearances at Alcatraz festival, OLT Rivierenhof, Ancienne Belgique, Rock Herk, TRIX, and Dunk! Festival helped put them on the map, these guys are a tough act to follow – how else do you end up at a Monster Magnet’s after show and supporting Life of Agony? Their self-titled debut ‘Huracán’ (2015), the EP ‘Realm of Instability’ (2017), followed by their full album ‘We Are Very Happy’ (2022, Dunk! Records) met with rave reviews. In September ’25 the new EP ‘2025’ will be out on 12” vinyl and all streaming platforms. It’s Huracán’s #2 Dunk!Records release. The band teamed up with Chiaran Verheyden (Hippotraktor, Psychonaut, Bear, ...) as producer, and this is what he says about it; “Huracan are raw, heavy, and play the unexpected. That which you didn't know you needed”

In autumn ’25 and through ’26 Huracán will hit stages again.
