Chris Ostler is a neurodivergent country-rock artist redefining what it means to feel different and turns it into sound.
Think Jelly Roll heart, Bryan Adams grit, and Nate Smith soul, all channelled through an Exeter-born storyteller with a real transatlantic feel.
Chris has played to over 10,000 people across summer festivals and garnered 15K+ views organically last month - an artist on the rise!
Chris has supported international artists such as Joan Armatrading, Martin Barr and Chris Barron, and also other performers including The Leylines, 3 Daft Monkeys, Sarah McQuaid and the Barefoot Bandits. He has played larger festivals on main stages in the South-West/Midlands such as ‘GoldCoast Oceanfest’, ‘The Big Feastival’, and ‘Wychwood’, as well as many smaller intimate stages such as ‘Fynefest’, the incredible mountainous festival in Scotland. Live audiences are truly his natural home!

Exeter-born Chris as he wants others know that through music we can “overcome challenges in life by supporting and believing in ourselves and others”. Proudly neurodivergent, he wishes to “help others and use music to make positive differences in the world”.
Chris’ Playground
Chris is a vibrant and dynamic act with a powerful voice that resonates like ripple in a pond. He plays his acoustic electric guitar as if “it’s part of him”, generating colourful chords that are cleverly woven together to create incredible, catchy country-rock songs. Chris loves to perform live and has phenomenal energy and thirst for communicating with his audiences. He motivates and enthrals listeners, making meaningful connections between their stories and his own. He is keen to connect far and wide, welcoming opportunities to showcase his music.

Although currently based in the South-West of the UK, Chris’ has performed across the UK and his music has been on national airwaves with tracks on several BBC Radio stations such as Devon, Leicester and the ‘BBC Introducing Southwest’ alongside several other independent stations right across the UK. Chris often plays solo with his acoustic guitar and stomp box but can also be backed by talented, renowned session musicians as his regular band members. He loves to use a six-piece line-up with Drums, Bass, Keys, Lead Electric & Rhythm Guitars all behind Chris on his electric acoustic - a truly all encompassing, phenomenal musical experience!
