In love with music and languages since she had ears and a voice, Léa Solex started to create her own songs quite suddenly one lonely night in February 2011. It had been inside her all her life, and once it began to spill out, it came in waves. Songs began to flow, instinctively, in what she calls her "cocoon" on the Atlantic seaside of France. Léa is simply attached to the simple and pure things in life and you hear it in her music. Within a few months a metamorphosis had given birth to a new melodious creature that equiped with a guitarlele and omnichord carried her freshly written minimalist folk songs to neighboring Caen. As a bird learns to fly, Léa had become a singer songwriter, naturally. She was quickly discovered by the new musical talent contest "Les Découvertes du Printemps de Bourges" and selected as a regional representative of Normandy. A month later she would be seen, solitary enchantress, performing her music on stage of the "Big Band Café". Her songs are painted with the sounds of the accordion, the omnichord (vintage Japanese electronic autoharp from the 80's), the guitarlele, old pianos and the electric guitar.
