The Lexington, N.C. native knows where he came from, but the driven entertainer has called Music City USA home for the last 9 years. With sure-footed direction, tight songwriting, energetic performances, and an always growing fan base, Coppley has proven his place in a competitive, ever-changing industry.
Coppley isn’t afraid of a little hard work, nor does he shy away from a challenge. As a national touring act, his momentum and determination persists. For the past several years, he has tirelessly averaged 80 to 100 shows each year. Opening for top notch country stars including Luke Bryan, Randy Houser, Parmalee, Brett Eldredge, Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, and Love and Theft, Coppley lures in his audiences with authentic, personable performances, setting the stage for all who follow him. Coppley’s first EP was released in 2013. Impressively, he was featured in iTunes new and noteworthy section for two weeks. Additionally, his follow-up single “What I’m Looking For,” was also featured separately in new and noteworthy. With over 8,000 downloads in 6 weeks, Coppley has continued to thank the fans for all of the support and good fortune.
In recent years, Coppley has spent time honing in on his sound, writing, and releasing several new singles, “How’s it Going to Be”, Wildfire, Rush, and Til Summer Comes Along all while working on writing the best and strongest material for his upcoming record that is set to be released in 2022.
“I feel blessed every day I get to wake up and entertain my fans. They are the driving force behind what I do,” says Coppley.
Offstage, the rising performer continues to sharpen his songwriting craft by co-writing with some of Nashville’s finest songwriters. Coppley has penned tunes with Taylor Phillips (Luke Combs, Kane Brown, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan), Steve Dean (Rodney Atkins – “Watching You”), Will Nance (Brad Paisley – “She’s Everything”), and Universal Music’s Jeremy Bussey (Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, Ashley McBryde) and Chase McGill, among others. His first Artist cut, “Home” a song Coppley wrote with fellow writer Kenneth Duncan, and artist Josh Gracin, was released in 2020.
Coppley’s unwavering work ethic, positive disposition, and personal individuality is characteristic of an entertainer with longevity and staying power.
Despite his certain success, Coppley remains focused, and keeps his eye on the ball in saying, “My shows remain all about the music, and I’m just leaving everything in God’s hands...”
