Sounded tight. Played the songs I wanted to hear. Newer songs of course were more commercial but that’s to be expected. My main gripe is about the “stage show”. I get that it’s the norm nowadays for bands….particularly guitarists to go direct with digital modelers rather than using amps on stage. When a band from Sweden plays Australia cartage is expensive. It makes sense not to lug hundreds of pounds of amps across the world with you to save costs. However Katarina’s stage consisted of a half dozen Marshall full stacks - that’s nearly fifty 12” guitar speakers. I’m willing to bet all but one of these cabinets were an empty shell with no speakers inside and were merely for “show”. If a foreign act is going through the effort to put on a stage show by renting a dozen Marshall cabs then why don’t they actually have the balls to do it for real? Rent another three power amps and plug them in!

They were good ,but Jonas Renkse was having serious problems with his mic. It was hard at times to make out the vocals. They were also missing a second guitarist,but lead guitarist Anders Nystrom was incredible as always. I have seen them twice before & have all their CD's but one. They just didn't seem quite as good as I remember them.

I finally got to see Katatonia and loved every second of their set. They played music from their whole catalogue, and some things that had never been played live before (Decima). I love this band and hope that they keep soldiering on for a good long while. Such talent.

I hadn’t seen Katatonia before and hadn’t heard much of their music. This show transformed me into a fan. The energy was so calming and yet so exciting and intense at the same time. I loved it and can’t wait to see them again.

First things first. Katatonia is my fav. Band and I had been looking forward to this show for 1,5 years. Yet for me personally two supportgroups were quite a lot, especially with the second one playing for longer than the main act O.O nevertheless, it was great seeing Katatonia again and having a few of my fav. Songs in the Setlist, although by far not enough :-D Of course, that is always a question of luck, specially with 30 years worth of songs to chose from. Would love an acoustic tour since I missed the last one. <3

Both Solstafir and Katatonia delivered, I loved their music and have a higher appreciation for it after the show. However the acoustics of the venue can be improved, especially close to the stage there was too much bass. Standing on the back it felt more balanced. There is a huge difference in loudness as well in the front vs back. I also didn't like Katatonia's light show, the lights on behind the band were blinding in many parts of the show, you could barely see the musicians' faces. Maybe they like it that way but to me it made the show a bit less enjoyable.

It was a blast. One of the best bands of all times. This particular show was awesome but for me to short. Maybe cause I enjoyed every single minute of it that time flew really fast. Anyway hope to see them again live anytime soon.

KATATONIA! Amazing live band and their music is truly art. Jonas was in full voice and karate kicking all over the place! Supporting band Soen were incredible as well. Just an unforgettable experience at one of the best small venues I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy.

Thank you guys so much for coming to Florida. I LOVE old Katatonia & new; and it was an amazing experience for my first concert. I can listen to you guys at any time of the day and I felt a new meaning to a lot of their songs seeing them live. Thank you guys for coming here it's one of the best moments of my life seeing you guys live ❤️

Katatonia at the Nile was stellar. Intimate and up close, and these guys absolutely rock live, sounding even better than their recordings because you get to be one with the music, and they connect with their audience so well. I’ll see them live every chance I get.

Amazing show! Amazing group of bands they got together! The only gripe I have is with vocal mixing at the place. Could not hear vocals for many songs. This all tied to one particular event, and the band's audio part was great! More of a building/live mix issues. Huge recommend! Katatonia always rocks!

Got there a little late so I really can't comment on the whole show but Katatonia was great as expected that was my first show at Goldfield and gotta say I really liked the small venue I'll be back probably for Soen

When a truly “musical” act that can easily be a person’s favorite only shows up in your town every 5 to 10 years ,from lands far far away U have to make the meeting! Great show Gentleman! We thank you for your Efforts that have Great results! Peace in The Dark! Ok, now for you folks that do make it? ..Don’t Miss them …Next Time, ..if there is one?

My son and I went to this show. We have a wonderful new memory together! The Oriental Theater was a nice venue. It wasn't too crowded, and parking was not too difficult either. Katatonia was absolutely awesome. They played for about 1.5 hours. Also got to see Cellar Darling and The Ocean Collective. They were awesome too!! They got a friendly mosh pit going, but I didn't want to give up my spot in the FIRST ROW!! Everybody had a good time. The only complaint I have about English bands is they don't interact much with their fans before or after the shows. Mexican bands often greet fans after the show. I know you can't meet everybody, but at least *try* to show some interest in your fans:-)

Very good performance. The band played several of my favourite tracks. The new single, "Atrium", sounded great live. My one complaint is that the band was shrouded in smoke for the entire show. Couldn't see them very well at all. Not sure if that was their call or the venue's. Felt badly for poor Jonas who had hurt his back earlier that day. Despite that, his voice live is excellent!

The sound in the theater was solid! Missed the opening acts but Katatonia was fantastic all around. VERY tight sound with each of the members shining on their instrument. If you guys see this, Thank you for coming all the way from Sweden and making my night into something special and heart felt.

The new line up is Amazing Renski is a great vocalist and song writer, he has been one of my most favorite Singers ,even other side projects were great!I always look forward to they're new records.Katatonia is in my top 3 bands.Katatonia always delivers on everything they have recorded.All they're b sides are some of my favorite work from them.Come back next year guys.You sounded beautiful

Only one complaint: The guitars were too low in the mix. The drums were clear & sharp and the bass could be felt as well as heard. Unfortunately, they overpowered the guitars and it made the overall sound quality a bit lopsided. Otherwise, the only thing that could have made the show better was if Katatonia had played longer. Excellent show from the Masters Of Melancholy. \,,/

The band kicked ass, both in performance and song selection. The sound regulation was a little off, making the drums sound a little too loud and hiding the other instruments. Had a great time, anyway. Hoping to see them play again

This is the first time I went to Katatonia, it's been a great time, it is an unexpectedly energetic and warm band live. The only thing that, in my opinion, wasn't well, was the excess of bass. All in all, everything was great. Glad I've seen them :)
